About Us

We work by hand. Choosing and turning the timber, shaping and finishing the piece, step by step, with care. It is honest, satisfying work, and that is where the difference from a machine-made piece lies.

We enjoy a commission most of all. Turning a bowl or a set of spoons for a gift or a table is the best work there is.

We are a small turnery making domestic woodware by hand. To us a bowl is more than turned wood: worked by hand from good timber, it is honest, it suits the kitchen and, cared for, it lasts for years of use. That is what our work is about.
